Keine Zeit

Thanks for all the feedback so far - much of which has been "oh when you said it was a derelict dump, we didn't realise you meant a complete crack den!"  I blame myself for constant over-use of superlatives and exclamation marks.

Have had no time in the last few days to renovate. The good news is, daylight savings kicked in overnight so I now have an extra hour in the evenings to work on the house.

I will leave you with a poem by my talented Auntie Sue :)
______________

Of Broken Hearts and Restorations.

I am quite a way up Purple road from
Gloom Alley.

All those who come to live on Purple Road
Strip away the boarded slats,

I trade with sunbeams and kiss each purple mien,
To review all sides and aggregates;

Thus Purple Road begins to set again solid states.

In inner city hush the spiked whispers of hipsters
a little distracted generally but fine as twice bright glimmer.

The cool Dudes add one or two crude comments
Which serves to seal the deal I take on Purple Road.

  1. I LOVE the poem! Suits the crack den perfectly. Must be printed and framed on the 'wall' as you work.
