Getting hammered

Today I hired some help and got some more flooring done until we ran out of green tongue. I need to borrow the ute to get some more from Bunnings.

I also started to pull down the ceiling which covered me in clouds of black dust. Tomorrow I'm bringing my shower cap. Seriously.

The restumpers have managed to squeeze me in on Thursday. They're coming back to straighten up the leaning house trusting I've managed to pull down the ceiling by then. Unfortunately it's going to cost me $1200 per day. Booo. :( They said it will be 2-3 days but I told them I'd have to stand there with a whip to make sure it's no more than 2. EVERYTHING is still waiting on the this-  most importantly the electricity.

The plumber has gone completely AWOL again. Apparently this is normal. Well, I haven't paid him anything yet so if he could just stay AWOL permanently that would be greaaat.

At lunch I grabbed my usual $2.60 salad bahn mi. (ie Vietnamese baguette with pickled shredded carrot, coriander, spring onion, cucumber, fried onions, chilli, soy sauce)

EXTREMELY LIFE THREATENING INJURY. 

I hammered my thumb twice. If you see me don't touch my thumb. 

How it looked by the end. Hallway done, second bedroom and Living mostly done. Need to cut lots of tricky fillers.
