Busy weekend.
Yesterday was spent helping Kate and Nick start on their fence. Nick's sister Meg was also on board. The main task was to dig all the stump holes, sometimes having to drill through concrete.
I could start building my own front fence soon, because it is something I know how to do without help, but it would perhaps hinder deliveries during the project.
I let Koko know this was the one time she was allowed to dig holes in the garden but she told me she her paws couldn't reach down to the required 600mm depth
My Aunt and Uncle also came over to see both my house and Kate's yesterday, I got some great advice as always.

Today Kate helped me take a load of stuff to the tip. We then went and bought some timber and paint. Good old Bunnings.
We chose Taubmans because it offered free M&Ms and... I was hungry.
Bunnings is the one place where I can wear my Ghostbusters suit in public without any stares
I managed to score a huge amount of insulation from Kate's neighbour for $50. This will do nicely for the ceiling too. If I can't afford double glazing, then I'll just overuse insulation! It is now taking up most of the front room.
Haha I laughed the whole way through. Highlights are the taubmans mnms and koko. You could wear the ghostbusters suit to the state library but you'd need a proton pack to avoid stares. Your sisters house is really cute! Loving the progress and $50 insulation. -Sal
ReplyDeleteHaha! I didn't think of that. How about I just wear one of those vaccum cleaners on my back if I can't find a proton pack? Or maybe a spraying from a fire hydrant on my back? It will be just like high school!
