Wow, the progress that has been done last few days... I'm just not use to so much progress in so little time :)   The wardrobes are in, some of the power points in, feature tiles in, downlights in, doors hung, some skirtings and architraving done.

I have employed 2 carpenters to try and hurry things along. The urgency is mainly in the bedrooms though, to get the skirtings in before the carpet is laid.  In the end, the carpet is being laid a bit prematurely as you're supposed to do it very last in any renovation so it doesnt get dust and paint on it. ah well! 
Above is a finished door together. It was decided to use base blocks to add a feature to the doorways.



Kate came round after her dinner to kindly start assembling my Ikea Godmorgon mirror cabinet for the bathroom. 


Had to paint some of the skirtings before installation as I wont have time to paint them afterwards. As of tomorrow I will be able to turn on lights!!!!


I pulled a latie tonight so I walked up and had dinner at Hao Phong. I had tofu shredded salad with rice and hot tea. $11. :) Will probably live on this before I get my kitchen I imagine.
