Inspiration

Right I better keep interest up in the blog as the momentum has been lost with all the delays. I visited the house today and looks like all the stump holes have been dug and there appear to be some concrete stumps sitting out front ready to go. (next to a forgotten bag of asbestos which has broken open and is spilling out bahaha zzz)

 Whilst waiting for the restumping to be complete, I'll show you some decor that has inspired me over the last few months. If I REALLY had my way, I would of course turn the house in to a retro futuristic spaceship with some inspiration from an Austin Powers film set. However, I must keep a lid on it to think about future renters or buyers depending on what I want to do one day. Minimalism is definitely on the agenda.

 
Red and dark grey seems to be in at the moment (which means it will go out again?). I'd really love to copy and paste this kitchen....


 A friend recently created these red additions to his fence and I think it looks brilliant. He did it by heavily coating sheets of marine ply in paint.


Guest bedroom?  eheheheeeee  (FYI you can buy this Totoro bed on ebay etc)


 I've been waiting patiently to be able to buy such homewares as this from Hells Blankets


 Friendly inviting chairs for the deck?

    I looked at a flat when I first moved to London about 7 years ago that had that red colour kitchen so I think the red and black has some legs in it yet. I love it, it needs a fair amount of lighting to brighten it up though, down spot lamps look good fitted under the top cabinets.
