My Dad has finished repairing the "Work of Arch" and has now reinstalled it.
New hallway windows cut in! They look so good and don't really detract from the "periodness" of the house afterall. Next is to prepare a hole for the hallway cavity shelving.
Next job is working on straightening all the lounge ceiling ready for plaster.
When there is activity on site, I feel good
Outside there was a bit of punching in of nails, filling, sanding and painting.
I have become quite over-excited about choosing the content to the proposed leadlight window above the front door. I love birds so want to go with that, and now I'm thinking an Australiana theme. It will just have to match the red front door. My Aunt even suggested I get an artist to paint the glass.

Who knows how much this would cost.. possibly out of my price range.
