There is life in the house after all

Some of the walls are proving very annoying to remove - being made with old school plaster that is crumbly and only comes off in little chunks, rather than the newer cardboardy style of plaster.

Last night I sat down to take a little break. After a while, a large rat appeared and seemed to be getting on its back legs against things to inspect the rubble. It didn't notice I was there so I sat perfectly still until it suddenly saw me and bolted away.

A skeleton of a cat was uncovered under the house. It looks very very disintegrated/ old - possibly from Victorian times. I rather fancy it looked like this

Half crumbled wall. How am I going to get rid of the rubble arghh.

The new hole between the 2 bedrooms. Hopefully the new ventilation dries out the soil.
